Marching as to War
One of the most controversial issues that divides good Christians from the secular world is the subject of abortion. Christian leaders such as Ralph Reed and political leaders such as Pat Buchanan make it clear we are in a battle with the enemies of God and there is no room for compromise: "Only we can restore this nation. Only the people here today, and people like us, can turn this around… only Christian believers doing the work… in the thick of battle." (Oklahoma state chairman Fred Sellers speaking at a Christian Coalition training meeting.)
"A man dressed in black burst into two abortion clinics in Brookline, Massachusetts, and opened fire with a rifle. Two people were killed and five wounded in the shootings, which occurred within minutes of each other. On Saturday John C. Salvi III, the suspect in the attacks, was arrested after he fired shots at another abortion clinic in Norfolk, Virginia." TIME Magazine, 01/09/95.
Right-to-life activists burn and bomb abortion clinics and shoot doctors who rip babies from the womb. Certainly, these activities are in keeping with the spirit of The Bible. In Deuteronomy 7:2 God stated what he wants we the righteous to do after he delivers his enemies to us: "And when the LORD thy God shall deliver them before thee; thou shalt smite them, and utterly destroy them; thou shalt make no covenant with them, nor show mercy unto them."
While it is true the right-to-life activists are smiting and showing no mercy to the users of abortion clinics and to their doctors, are we really certain the abortion doctors are the enemies of God and the right-to-life activists are doing God’s work? Let us examine this issue.
Who, exactly, are having abortions? Are the righteous having abortions? Of course not! We are multiplying and replenishing the earth as directed by God. We the righteous are building up the ranks of God’s army. Only the wicked and iniquitous would have abortions. And if they would have abortions, what other nefarious and evil deeds are they doing in dark places and behind bedroom doors? And how should we deal with these wicked and iniquitous enemies of God? As we fight to bring to America a Bible-based morality, we must set the example by turning to The Bible for guidance. In The Bible, God tells us exactly how he wants us to deal with his enemies. (As you read the following passages, please watch for a common theme.)
In Isaiah 13:16, God instructs his army in the method of destruction of Babylon: "Their children also shall be dashed to pieces before their eyes; their houses shall be spoiled, and their wives ravished."
In Hosea 13:16, God causes the destruction of a wicked city: "...they shall fall by the sword: their infants shall be dashed in pieces, and their women with child shall be ripped up."
More instructions from God: "Their bows also shall dash the young men to pieces; and they shall have no pity on the fruit of the womb; their eye shall not spare children." Isaiah 13:18
In Hosea 10:14, God sent his Holy army to do battle with the unrighteous: "...in the day of battle: the mother was dashed in pieces upon her children."
Did you identify the common theme? The children of God’s enemies "shall be dashed in pieces," their "women with child shall be ripped up," "the mother was dashed in pieces upon her children," "their children also shall be dashed to pieces before their eyes," and the men with bows shall not spare their children.
Why would God order the death of the children of his enemies? This passage from The Bible will help explain: "Come on, let us deal wisely with them; lest they multiply, and it come to pass, that, when there falleth out any war, they join also unto our enemies, and fight against us..." Exodus 1:10.
God understands that as his enemies multiply the fruits of this multiplication will grow up to fight against us, and God has made it clear how he wants us to deal with this issue. So, who is doing God's work and who is fighting against God's ways? Of course, the abortion clinics and their doctors are fighting the Holy war against the enemies of God by ripping up their women with child and dashing their little ones to pieces. Abortion clinics are God’s modern-day way of dealing with his enemies. The right-to-life bombers and shooters are interfering with God's ways by shutting down abortion clinics.
Remember Deuteronomy 7:2? "And when the LORD thy God shall deliver them before thee; thou shalt smite them, and utterly destroy them; thou shalt make no covenant with them, nor show mercy unto them." By inspiring the laws that allow abortion, God has delivered his enemies before us. We must show no mercy as we fight for the right of every enemy of God to have an abortion, even encourage them. Just as the right-to-life zealots have showed no mercy when harassing and intimidating abortion seekers, so we must now show no mercy and utterly destroy the enemies of God by convincing them they must have abortions.
Is this confusion about abortion because Satan and his followers have infiltrated our ranks? Or have Jerry Falwell, Pat Buchanan and all the right-to-lifers just been duped by Satan and his minions? We must call upon them to repent and embrace the teachings of The Bible.
We know the right-to-lifers understand Exodus 15:3, "The LORD is a man of war: the LORD is his name."
And we know they understand and have fully embraced Psalms 144:1, "Blessed be the LORD my strength, which teacheth my hands to war, and my fingers to fight." Now we must pray for the right-to-lifers to repent and to apply their zeal to God’s cause - abortions for the wicked.
Let the repentant right-to-lifers join us as we raise high our voices and sing out our anthem. And let our anthem be the glorious words of Psalms 137:9. Here the righteous psalmist is speaking to the Babylonians, the archenemies of God: "Happy shall he be, that taketh and dasheth thy little ones against the stones."
Happy shall we be as we fight to bring a Bible-based morality to America! Each day, as we encounter those who oppose us, let us carry this happy anthem in our hearts and in our minds. Onward, Christian soldiers!

AI - Abortion2
One of the most contentious battles between the righteous and the secular world is the issue of abortion. Christian warriors like Ralph Reed and political figures such as Pat Buchanan have made it clear that there is no room for compromise in this holy war. "Only we can restore this nation. Only the people here today, and people like us, can turn this around… only Christian believers doing the work… in the thick of battle," declared Fred Sellers at a Christian Coalition training meeting.
Meanwhile, the secular world does not remain idle. "A man dressed in black burst into two abortion clinics in Brookline, Massachusetts, and opened fire with a rifle. Two people were killed and five wounded in the shootings, which occurred within minutes of each other. On Saturday John C. Salvi III, the suspect in the attacks, was arrested after he fired shots at another abortion clinic in Norfolk, Virginia." (TIME Magazine, 01/09/95)
Right-to-life activists have bombed clinics and gunned down doctors in their zeal to protect the unborn. But are they truly doing God’s will? Let us consult The Bible for clarity.
Deuteronomy 7:2 provides us with divine instruction: "And when the LORD thy God shall deliver them before thee; thou shalt smite them, and utterly destroy them; thou shalt make no covenant with them, nor show mercy unto them."
Certainly, the right-to-life activists are smiting and showing no mercy to the doctors and women who engage in abortion. But are these truly the enemies of God? Let us examine who, precisely, is having abortions. Are the righteous seeking them? Of course not! The faithful are fulfilling God’s command to "be fruitful and multiply." The unrighteous, however, are eliminating their own offspring. What other wickedness do they engage in behind closed doors? And how does God command us to deal with such people?
Isaiah 13:16 lays it out: "Their children also shall be dashed to pieces before their eyes; their houses shall be spoiled, and their wives ravished."
Hosea 13:16 provides another example of divine justice: "...they shall fall by the sword: their infants shall be dashed in pieces, and their women with child shall be ripped up."
And Isaiah 13:18 reinforces this theme: "Their bows also shall dash the young men to pieces; and they shall have no pity on the fruit of the womb; their eye shall not spare children."
It is evident that God has, time and time again, ordered the destruction of His enemies, including their children. Why? The answer is found in Exodus 1:10: "Come on, let us deal wisely with them; lest they multiply, and it come to pass, that, when there falleth out any war, they join also unto our enemies, and fight against us..."
God understands that allowing His enemies to multiply will only strengthen those who stand against Him. But who, in modern times, is carrying out His will? The abortion clinics! By ripping up the unborn children of the wicked, they are ensuring that God's enemies do not flourish. In contrast, the right-to-life bombers and shooters are interfering with God's divine plan. By attacking abortion clinics, they are halting the very mechanism by which God’s foes are eliminated.
Deuteronomy 7:2 reminds us: "And when the LORD thy God shall deliver them before thee; thou shalt smite them, and utterly destroy them; thou shalt make no covenant with them, nor show mercy unto them." By instituting laws that allow abortion, God has delivered His enemies before us. We must not waver. We must show no mercy in supporting abortion rights for the wicked. In fact, we must encourage them, for it is the Lord’s will that the unrighteous do not reproduce.
Could it be that Satan has infiltrated the right-to-life movement? Have Christian leaders like Jerry Falwell and Pat Buchanan been deceived by the forces of darkness? We must call upon them to repent and to embrace the true teachings of The Bible.
We know that the right-to-lifers understand Exodus 15:3: "The LORD is a man of war: the LORD is his name." We know they embrace Psalms 144:1: "Blessed be the LORD my strength, which teacheth my hands to war, and my fingers to fight." Now, we must pray for them to direct their zeal toward the true cause—ensuring that the enemies of God have every opportunity to terminate their own offspring.
Let the repentant right-to-lifers join us as we raise high our voices and sing out our anthem. And let that anthem be the words of Psalms 137:9: "Happy shall he be, that taketh and dasheth thy little ones against the stones."
Happy shall we be as we fight to bring a Bible-based morality to America! Each day, as we encounter those who oppose us, let us carry this happy anthem in our hearts and in our minds.
Onward, Christian soldiers!
